Anyone else a member of this site? I've been able to go as far back as the 1600s. Some lines are almost impossible to trace, other are very easy.

I've been thinking of joining in 2010. My grandfather (Tracy) abandoned my dad and his brother when they were 5. My dad was adopted thereafter so my name is different. I would like to know where I came from now that I know where I'm going. :thumbsup

The do have a community section that you may want to look at.

becuase majority of my family history in Jamaica is not recorded and my family heritage from germany and ireland and scottland are lost. you knwo the whole black history thing . I looked into my family ancestry the old fashion way.

You can go to the library and find books to follow up family history. Good luck with it if your finding it works for you though! :thumbsup

Libraries are very limited, if they have anything at all. But I'm not here to get advice.
