Where's your favorite Starbucks? (Pic)

My fav is at the Camelback Inn in Paradise Valley, AZ.

It's not a fake Starbucks like in Safeway or something and you really get a nice patio to enjoy your drink :)

Can't see shit.

Jon Oso 12-27-2009 05:37 PM

I'm not a big fan of starbucks but I got dragged into one at Barne's and Noble today with the lady. I drank about half of it and threw it away. Would've rather had a redbull.

Anything in PV though is bound to be nice.

Starbucks is fucking nasty...

Anyone that enjoys starbucks are ONLY people that have not had real coffee...

Get a french press, some beans(multiple kinds) and brew your own... by far cheaper and WAY WAYYYYY better.

Thank me later! You pay 25 bucks and have 10 times the coffees and a french press to make the rest later. Just need to invest in beans after that.

Starbucks is fake ass nasty cat shit coffee. Sheep Fuel!

If extended time... i take my french press. If staying at hotels, I hope their coffee pot gets the water hot enough.

If i dont have mine with me, Ill try nearly any other coffee house besides starbucks as I find starbucks COMPLETELY NASTY!

For my area, I like Dutcg Bros. No its not as good as my coffee, but it beats starbucks anyday.

Fuckin McDonalds coffee is better than starbucks!

Thats just how I feel...

BTW - waiting on answers about the site im working on...

HandballJim 12-27-2009 06:31 PM

I enjoy strong black coffee so starbucks is okay with me...it is just over priced. Also not many near me...so my fav ones would be in Eastchester, NY or the one by St. Marks Place, NYC.

Sometimes its ok to take your kids to starbucks for a chocolate milk and get a latte. It's ok to be into food, wine, cigars, coffee and take them seriously but lugging your coffee equipment everywhere you go is not my idea of fun.

Anyways here's the pic from my own server.

I love coffee. Hence, I hate Starbucks

lugging your coffee equipment :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Do i do it, not very often. Have I ever... yes.

Because i say that... youre going to toss my coffee suggestions out and scoff it as an extreme coffee elitist taking it too far?

Fact: Starbucks is garbage coffee.
Fact: French Press is probably the best possible way to make your coffee. That is if you care about what youre drinking.

If you dont care. Drink Starbucks.

Deej 12-27-2009 09:56 PM

Its kinda like... I used to drink folgers... But theres no way i can swallow that shit now.

however id drink it over starbucks :2 cents:

heymatty 12-27-2009 10:12 PM

Well to be fair Starbucks has many coffee products. I don't enjoy their drip coffee much at all. But I don't order that when I am there.

I think their espresso beans are pretty good. So the main variable on that is which monkey is grinding the organ, which leaves a lot of room for good and bad experiences.

No, but I will have to presume you are not very familiar with SB if you drew that conclusion.

i guess you could say im not as familiar as people that frequent starbucks. But the 3 or 4 times i did go there I hated it. I consider myself familiar with coffee. Ive had espresso machines and coffee pots and drippers and steamers and floofers. The best yet ive had and yet most simple is the french press. I rave about them on here about every month.

Every thing I say here is true.

French Press > Most other way of coffee preparation > Starbucks

People that enjoy real coffee dont care for starbucks.... if they do theyre weird. Are you weird baddog?

if youre talking about flavors n shit, then youre talking flavors and not real coffee flavor that much. If youre that adimant about it though look for the syrups and make your own again at home and then tell me starbucks has it going on...

VikingMan 12-27-2009 10:55 PM

Yeah Starbucks just proves that people love garbage products. They can't even do something simple like make a halfway decent Americano. :1orglaugh

LiveDose 12-27-2009 11:04 PM

Any one with a drive through/thru.

born2blog 12-27-2009 11:30 PM

magpan 12-28-2009 04:03 AM

Fuck Starbucks. French press is certainly the best way to do it and most higher-end hotels have them as a part of their room service now. :thumbsup

CaptainHowdy 12-28-2009 06:46 AM

Never tried Starbucks...

nice area 4 sure

Herb Kornfield 12-28-2009 07:49 AM

I usually only drink the coffee I brew at home which is Jim's Organic coffee. If I am hitting the road from home I take a "go cup" with me for the car.

Travelling on the road I try to locate a small coffeeshop and have a nice cup.

At one time I was a daily starbucks head and then the acid burn was just too much to take anymore plus blowing almost $10 for me and the wife to get coffee was crazy.

$25 I get a 5 pound bag :)

DaddyHalbucks 12-28-2009 10:45 PM

Starbucks is great! Their coffee is very consistent. Plus, their stores are friendly and clean.

How do you grind the beans down to the right consistency?

Yeah, St marks is a good one in the summer, but the Mud truck parks on Astor Place, and thats even better.

Farang 12-28-2009 11:29 PM

I like Starbucks. Latte with pie and cigarette in the morning :thumbsup
