Now it's really getting ridiculous - possible new rules for flying!

http://gizmodo.com/5434592/no-electr...=Google+Reader

if that becomes true i am simply not flying anymore

no electronics
no getting up on the last hour of the flight
no blankets
no access to your carry-on luggage

as if any of that would prevent anything. sorry peeps, but your "TSA" is nuts

american pervert 12-27-2009 10:25 AM

The TSA is a horrible government system.

lol - close to reality

pornguy 12-27-2009 10:34 AM

Why dont they just build the airplanes where everyone sits in their own sealed pod. Blacked out and bomb proof.

From time to time every one hears poof there is a bit of smoke and thats the end of the bomber.

BFT3K 12-27-2009 10:36 AM

The latest rule is crazy!...

No Clothing Allowed On Passengers!

Air travel is now limited to Nudists Only!

Expect anal probes, and NO Luggage Allowed - None at all!

You MAY get your original clothing back after you leave the plane... maybe.

BFT3K 12-27-2009 10:38 AM

This may sound crazy, but perhaps it's time everyone just gets their own lightweight plane.

You know, like the Jetsons.

MaDalton 12-27-2009 10:40 AM

how about this: before the start you get an injection that knocks you out and they wake you up again once you are back on the ground

Juicy D. Links 12-27-2009 10:47 AM

i hate flying

bbobby86 12-27-2009 10:52 AM

Hmmmmm....

nikki99 12-27-2009 11:11 AM

no poop allowed

If airlines offered flights with no security where you can get to the airport 20 minutes before your flight leaves, I'll bet 90% of flyers would do it.

baddog 12-27-2009 12:15 PM

The only thing that is ridiculous is your belief that if you read it on the Internet it must be true.

Sounds like their policy, not TSA's. :2 cents:

hjnet 12-27-2009 12:54 PM

They should only allow naked busty Blondes on the plane, and hire me for security body checks :)

BFT3K 12-27-2009 01:20 PM

This just in...

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/12/27/...ion/index.html

New Rule: No More Bathrooms On Planes!

Now you are only allowed to fly if you are willing to sit naked, and use your pull out tray for all excretions!

These are your New Freedoms - Enjoy!

Trax 12-27-2009 01:30 PM

why not put people in cages while flying, preferably naked so nobody can hide anything
fuck the u.s.
the tsa is fucking nuts if they are seriously considering this

american pervert 12-27-2009 01:33 PM

It's a shame the USA doesn't have a high speed rail service like Japan does. The amount of jobs it would create would help out a lot of people and would save tons of fuel. All you need is one up and down each coast, one from cali to d.c. and from Chicago to Dallas

I believe they are working on that plan, but what if a high speed rail passenger wants to use the bathroom, or wants a blanket? Who will screen all of the high speed rail passengers? Will terrorists not be allowed on the train?

I think ali g brought up the question what if i a terrorist tried to drive a train into the white house.

can't live in fear, but the usa wants to be politically correct.

now you will tell me that the things i listed are not expressly written on the TSA website and so on blabla...

China now has the fastest - 360 km/h - does 1000 km in 3 hours. thats faster than flying when you also count the time for check in etc.

no blankets.. I'm always covered in them, those airplanes are freezing cold! electronics..well the only thing hat makes flying half bearable is watching my shows/movies on my ipod to pass the time..getting up the last hour.. umm..they expect me to hold my pee for an entire hour? yeah right LOL

Can they really do this to us???! Sounds horrible:(

Even the smoking rooms are missing in planes :disgust

the crying babies
the yipping dogs
the fat people that spill into your seat,
people who try to talk to you even though it's quite obvious you have no interest in making small talk with them
including creepy guys that hit on you the entire flight and you're stuck next to them,
the assholes that insist on riding those carts with the people who are screaming at me "get outta of the way!" who the fuck are these people and why don't they walk like the rest of us?!
germs..people sneezing and coughing while we are stuck in a sealed vessel with them
rude ass flight attendants
no more free food..not even a small bag of peanuts? I have to PAY for junk food now and almost none of it is vegetarian..
being so tired you have to use one of those gross ass on flight pillows even though the person that used it before you prob drooled all over it ewwwww
I can barely cram myself into those little ass seats and I'm 5'2 I have no idea how a tall person can fit!
seeing your brand new luggage come out of it's first flight with a broken handle and stains all over it
complaining to the airlines about what a horrible time you had and having them basically say "well I don't give a fuck"
having no healthy food to eat..do I eat McDonalds, Wendys or nasty prepackaged salads that aren't that healthy

and my #1 pet peeve about airports/flying: people who walk around the airport with those stupid neck pillows around their necks. you look like an idiot/asshole. I would never ever fuck a guy that wore one of those things when he was not in flight/sleeping! these people make me so angry I don't know why

nothing makes me more salty than flying, and I do it all of the time! I just cant help it..thanx for letting me vent!:)

I agree with all these and my natural defenses against them involve blankets and electronic devices. Headphones help drown out some of the sound, and they for sure put a stop to the talkers. Also blankets on planes help provide a barrier to prevent touching. When you get some hairy douchebag in short sleeves hoging the armrest your blanket is your best friend.

Taking these things away would really REALLY make me miserable.

The fact is no matter what TSA does terrorists will find a way. Just like when I used to smoke I would just stick my lighters in my pockets instead of my purse- went through security every time. Airport security doesn't seem to be getting more effective, it seems to only succeed at becoming a bigger pain in the ass for passengers.

i agree 100% with that

and i really hate when some random person next to me touches me - i have asked people to stop that in the past. unless it's a hot chick :winkwink:

I had someone in first class keep leaning over the seat divider and resting his head on my shoulder. I tried to be polite the first two or three times, but I finally had to yell at him to make him stop. My point being even when you pay through the nose to have more space you still have to battle space invaders. :Oh crap

aniloscash 12-27-2009 10:35 PM

yeah sounds like flying is similar to spending a few hours in jail. Just less comfortable. I hope I don't need to fly anytime soon.

D Ghost 12-27-2009 11:12 PM

This shit is just getting out of hand... I paid for the flight, I wanna do whatever the fuck I want on it. The current regulations are sufficient. It's the fucking TSA/Homeland that's not doing their job the taxpayers are paying for.

LiveDose 12-27-2009 11:17 PM

I fucking hate flying already.

In the past, every time I had to take my shoes off at an airport I liked to think that the "shoe bomber" was, at that very moment, being dragged out of his cell for another beat down.

If the TSA implements this crap, the Nigerian piece of shit who precipitated it needs to have his ass kicked each and every fucking day until they plant his useless carcass six feet under.

NetHorse 12-27-2009 11:43 PM

I honestly don't mind it, I'd rather they create restrictions than let another piece of shit terrorist be successful in hijacking or blowing up a plane. Yeah it's an inconvenience, but don't blame TSA, blame the fucking Muslim asswipe terrorist and their gay religion.

The restrictions are pretty much useless. Restrictions didn't stop this Nigerian guy, passengers did. Restrictions didn't stop the shoe bomber, passengers did.

You may not have noticed it, but terrorists just come up with new tactics every time some new policy is implemented. Even if everyone is forced to travel naked, terrorists will just have bombs implanted subcutaneously. If everyone is forced to get a 24 hour medical exam before using a plane, terrorists will just go after bombs or trains.

Giving your 90 year old grandmother an anal probe every time she wants to board a plane does absolutely nothing to prevent terrorism. Its only use is to give the government and airlines the chance to say "we did everything we could" when shit does go wrong.

Two things that do help is getting good intel on radicals and having passengers be on the lookout. After 9/11, the latter isn't a problem, but the former... well, the Nigerian guy's own parents already warned the US embassy about him.

But by all means, keep supporting asinine measures that have no effect whatsoever other than to send out the message that "something is being done".

You're forgetting about all the people stopped in security checks before it even got to the point where passengers intervened. I agree that terrorist will find new ways, but that doesn't mean we stop implementing new restrictions that make it harder for them. We have no clue how many attempts may have been thwarted with added security, it's all but too easy to say they are ineffective.

IMO these Muslim clowns are for the most part retarded. Without the restrictions that were already put in place who knows how many more would have attempted attacks on planes.

All the people with explosives stopped in security checks? That would be a big fat "zero".

madawgz 12-28-2009 03:51 AM

wow thats fucked up

KILL_FRENZY 12-28-2009 05:09 AM

These fuckers were always paranoid. Why the hell I can't imagine, even if the plane goes down for whatever fucking reason there's very low chance they can loose a lawsuit since every airplane is registered as its own fucking small firm.

Pleasurepays 12-28-2009 05:54 AM

this is funny. i saw the attempted bombing/method and thought... "hmm... maybe NOW people will finally get that you can make explosives and deadly gases from many many different combination's of common chemicals, that alone are totally benign and maybe now they'll finally "get it" as to why they are limited to quantities of liquids, toiletries and so on that they can bring on a plane"

guess not
