DAMMIT! I spilled a drink on my Logitech MX Revolution mouse
 

If taking it apart and drying it for a few hours or days doesn't work, can anyone suggest a mouse just as good or even better? I really hope it survives this crisis as its my favorite mouse I've ever used.

I have a backup of mine, just in case. I am totally spoiled by using one, and can't imagine that there is a better one.

There isnt any better :) I did the same to mine several times and it still works.

i gave up spending more than 20 bucks on a mouse and still they last years. but i don't play any games with them

Sure the mouse may cost around ~$100, but its very worth it and has lasted me several years so far. If I have to I'll buy another one I guess.

w00t! disassembling it and sticking in front of a heater for an hour or 2 worked! I love this fucking mouse.

the logitech L7 which used to be sold alone but now only comes with the cordless keyboard/mouse pair is awesome.

While it's apart, wipe the buttons and wheel with an alcohol wipe or it will get all sticky and terrible.

replaced mine before christmas. Most annoying mouse I've ever hard. Excellent in hand but kept lagging on me so many times a day :/ They should have placed the recieved in the charger instead of the usbplug.

I use just a regular 3 button Microsoft mouse, love this fucking thing, but apparently can't find anything anywhere on it anymore, just those retarded fucking half size cordless mouses... wtf, does anyone have big hands and need a mouse that fits anymore?

same here, replaced my mx rev with the G5. Can't seem to find it for sale anymore though...

Logitech sucks balls.

They were great when they released the MX500 5-7 years ago, don't remember exactly when.

Since then it went downhill - both quality and durability.

Right now your best mouse is from the SteelSeries brand. They're expensive, but well worth it if you're a gamer and/or designer.

I love my Logitech MX Revolution mouse as well, but the damned batteries don't last. It stops charging after 8-12 months. I've had to get it replaced under warranty several times already.
