Unfortunately, the recent 2.9 release triggered a bug in certain versions of PHP’s curl extension. With these versions of curl, scheduled posts and pingbacks are not processed correctly.Comment

To all you guys complaining and 'crying' (thats what it is) about updates.
In the almost 8 years that WORDPRESS has been available its had 11 updates.
That is less then 2 upgrades per year, much closer to 1 per year. Get a clue.
Feel free to educate yourself so when you are talking shit you dont look like such a fucktard.

You didn't have to upgrade to 2.9 or 2.9.1. There wasn't a security issue that required it or even made it a good idea. So while an upgrade does exist, why complain about it in this case if it wasn't necessary?- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

I will stay with old versions
I have so customized WPs that if I upgraded them most certainly my sites would stop work. So, I work with new versions however, with old ones I prefer only to do some security fixes... not upgrading.
