Bank of America or Bank of India?
 

Well, saw a bunch of charges on my account that are not suppose to be there, call up bank of India, err Bank of America and there is NO ONE I can speak to that is not at there India call center, the supervisor is not available and the guy I am talking to can barely understand me and I can barely understand him.

I have been on the phone for over 45 mins now...

Bank of America my ass... bail these idiots out and they send their jobs over sea's... next time let them fail...

Lol, there are three bank of america's within 3-4 miles from me.. but considering I live in a VERY populated area, to talk to a rep about situations like this you have to wait for a minimum of 45 mins or longer while they sit there and look at you with such a dumbfounded face like they have never worked a day in their lives.

yeah but what choice you got.. the indians on the phone piss me off.. its annoying..

If I wasn't waiting on Escrow payments I would be moving my accounts today, both business and personal. Soon as everything goes through, going over to Chase or to my Credit Union.

These people really suck.

I would opt for a trip to the local branch over a phone call with someone who can't understand me-as you are saying....

been with bank of america for years and recently had the ATM eat my card. three days later had a new one here in S. America. All the reps i spoke with had perfect English, guess i lucked out!

I recalled 3 times and finally got a hold of a person who fluently speaks english. These people are retarded. They are offering half of my money back. WTF?

Switch banks.

BofA has the worst CS. I had an account there but moved it to another bank after getting fed up with having to go down to the bank to get things done.

I use Regions for most of my banking. Credit Unions are the best, but there aren't any currently near me.

thats what I am going to do, go back to my Credit Union, I have a personal account there already. Only reason I went to BOA is because there are so many around me and my credit union is about 20 mins away.

I just went crazy on the phone and guess what... the fucking morons finally credited back my account. You have to be a fucking ass hole in this world to get anything done.

No one forced you to use BoA so switch banks.

Also if you maintain a good balance (above 100K on savings) the call goes to US customer service.

Lol, I know no one forced me, the only reason I opened up this account was so one of my clients would have the ease of just transferring me payments.

Now no one is forcing me to stay and as soon as my escrow payments get here I am out...

Another thing, ask for the phone number of your local branch next time you are in there, they should give it to you.

I can't stand Bank of America!

Thing is, my local branch doesn't do anything about fraud "in-house" they get you on a phone while you are in there and go on with other customers.

After speaking with them more they saw that it was company I purchased some things online as Christmas gifts for family and the place charged me seperately for the items, seperatly for shipping and seperately for handling 6 times for each.. the most retarded thing I ever heard and its going to take 3-5 business days for the money to get returned.

I noticed it depends on what time you call. If you call really early, you get them, if you call really late you get them. Early being before 8am and late being after 6pm.

Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no problems with Indian's, but it doesn't make sense to not only send these jobs over seas [other than the fact that they are greedy and pay these people a fraction that would to an american], but also to put a person on the phone who speaks very little english, nor can understand it.
