is there a real difference between watching it in the cinema and watching it on DVD? something about 3D?

yes on dvd it is 2d animation something like simpsons

Great movie!

I went to the midnight showing for 3-D. It is easily one of the greatest movies ever made, and easily the greatest graphical achievement in movie history. I mean it was phenomenal. The only thing that kept it from being #1 in my book in all aspects of movies was the storyline. Mind you, it wasn't weak, it was just good, not great. But when you add the cgi, the storyline and script became great in my book. Definitely a must see, I will see it a 2nd and 3rd time in 3D.

Yes indeed storyline have something which doesnt have any sense.

The storyline has been used many times. Is kinda like dances with wolves......but instead of using Native Americans, now JC is using the Na'vi as the nature loving people who believes in the nature spirits.

But is smart of him to make an "avatar" to go blend with the Na'vi rather than going as human form. Good job from the lead actor. This the second time I see him being transformed into "something" from his human form. The first was in the latest terminator flick.

Over all is a good watch tho...but nothing really ground breaking imo.

I have heard only good things about it, and that if you are going to see it you need to make sure you see the 3d version. Can't wait to see it for myself.

Just checked Yahoo! reviews a bit ago - Critics and Users both agree it is an A- I have never seen a movie with both A's of any kind. I usually think if there is an A and a B it is pretty good, so this must be something special. Can't wait to see it!
