The Great LOTR2 Thread - What did you think??
 

I just came back from the movie theatre and saw Lord of the Ring 2: The Two Towers.

I won't give anything away but I can tell you that it kicks ass! :thumbsup The special effects are mind blowing, the battles were jaw dropping and the production was amazing. I can't wait for part 3 :)

Any of you seen it so far? What did you think??

Should I mention that the books have been around for decades:1orglaugh

Just kidding, glad to hear you liked it...I thought the first movie was excellent.

The first one was mediocre at best compared to the book...however the 2nd one looks significantly better. I'm looking forward to see it.

We have tickets for the show tom. night........ judging from the previews I dunno how it could be bad.

Well, hopefully it will start this Friday night at the local theater & I'll be able to catch the matinee on Sunday afternoon. I loved the first one & I want to catch this one.

i thought the first lord of the rings was weak.

Yeah I know about the books I've just never read them. It saves me from making annoying comments about the movie being different from certain parts of the book (don't you hate those people...)

The first part was already great but this part is full of battles, and there's nothing I like better then a buncha guys cracking skulls with swords and axes :thumbsup

Seriously though, the effects in this movie are even better than the first and there's even some humor in the sequel. Hope you guys that see it tonight enjoy it as much as I did :)

Yes I can't frigging wait to see TTT.

I got the extended LOTR Dvd last week and have being watching all the documentaries since then..really good stuff :thumbsup
