My dog started barking like crazy
 

...and he was in the office with me...with the office door shut. I opened the office door and he went running up to the door that leads into the garage and I heard a noise in the garage. I went back to my office and grabbed a pistol.

I turned on the garage light and looked thru my peep hole but did not see anything. I opened the door and entered the garage and I heard someone running down the street. I went out to the street and saw someone running down the street. I considered firing a round to speed him on his way but decided against it.

How about if your dog was barking because he heard somebody running in the street?

There is no doubt in my military mind that he was in my garage. I live on a cul-de-sac and when I left my garage he was just rounding a turn that is about 50 feet...or so...from my house that leads to the main street. I ran out to the main street and he was laying them down...and it is the early AM hour.

In addition I heard a noise in the garage.

I was hungry. I got up out of my chair. I looked at the kitchen counter. I saw some bread. I opened the bread. I needed some jelly. I saw the fridge. I opened the fridge. I grabbed the jelly.
