What is that Cloner guy up to?
 

Hey everyone! A lot of people have been asking me if I'm still in Adult and about my new job so I thought I'd drop a thread about it.

Well, I'm still wearing a lot of hats of course (that's just me) but I work for one main parent company and have responsibilities under three of the child companies.

My primary job is Science and Information Director for United Biofuels of America (http://unitedbiofuelsofamerica.org). With UBA I'm responsible for evaluating new and ongoing research we are conducting on biofuel production. UBA, via the Costa Rica Seed Company and Fox Fuels, is mostly working with Jatropha curcus and the Macauba palm, but we have research programs in algae and bio-ethanol as well.

We are in the initial stages of planting 600,000 hectares to produce 2,000,000 gallons of oil a day, which is really just a drop in the bucket as far as biodiesel demand goes.

I am coordinating with the U of Florida and NASA as we are going to be conducting micro-gravity gene expression experiments with Jatropha on the International Space Station in February. I get to go see our Space Shuttle launch which will be pretty sweet considering it will be one of the last of its kind.

My pet project with UBA is setting up Women's Empowerment Groups here in Costa Rica. I am organizing a movement to secure land and teach impoverished or abused women how to grow, process and sell the various products associated with Jatropha. I've had a good response so far.

My secondary position is as Editor in Chief of The Costa Rica News (http://thecostaricanews.com). This is more of a fun diversion as it gets me free tickets to every event in the country and I never have to pay to get into a club :)

Under TCRN I manage the writing staff, handle web development and supervise the marketing team.... pretty rote stuff.

Then finally, under Day Group Marketing, I manage the SEO, web design and online marketing teams.

Well that's it! I had a fun run in adult and Dave and Sean over at AdultInsider/FreeNetPass/Dirktube were awesome to work for, but it was time for me to move back into science.

Looks like you are doing a lot of research. You are not doing research about cloning people are you? If so, post more information. That would be an interesting read.

If the cloning experiments are secretly confidential - I understand. You can't talk about it.

heh... nope not people. The closest I ever got to that was cloning mice back in grad school......
