Mark can be kind of slow on ICQ, just because it shows as online does not mean he is sitting there ignoring you.

they email me a link to an anouncment they made on some forum.

I reply them:
"You sent me a link to a forum I'm not registered to."

next reply back from them:
"I closed your account"

and my login don't work. they actually concluded from my email that I want to close my account !
