getting drunk on Fernet-Branca
 

anyone done that recently? how did it feel? how did it feel the next day?

omg don't do it... i can't imagine how much you need to ingest to do so, it's gotta be like getting drunk on absinthe.

just make sure you puke at the end of the night.

no, I'm in California at the moment.... I hear that Fernet is very popular in Argentina though


I'm going to keep it to just a couple or so I think, the herbal taste is strong even not taking the alcohol into account, so I'm sure it has got to be pretty medicinal

mix it with coke, thats how they do it here.

That's what it's for, Fernet Branca isn't for getting drunk, it's for relaxing your stomach after a big meal.:thumbsup

It gives me a bad hangover but I don't mind that...

it's more or less the only hard liquor i drink. and i used to work in a club where we gave Fernet Branca as free shots to guests - hehe

the first one is awful, it's getting better until you have exactly one too much :upsidedow

but: no bad feelings the next day, but i never tried mixing it with anything. just straight shots

and after a fat meal it's the best ever :)

yup, fernet and coca cola.. about 1 part fernet to 3 or 4 parts coke... thats how its done here...

madalton, you got balls to drink that stuff straight up... i can finally choke it down without too much effort and that's mixed!

Go for it, mix it up with others, hate yourself in the morning, swear you won't ever drink again, have fun. Just don't pick up any chicks and don't drive :thumbsup
