Yes, its windows 7, tells nothing, no fancy pics, almost no progress indication, total unentartaining crap!

If it makes the process faster then I would say thumbs up. I generally don't sit at the computer for the install anyway. Although if you meant the part where you set preferences etc then I suppose that could suck.

well, its not a big change from vista to 7 i guess and it takes 30 minutes at least for dual core processor still and you can imagine it being silent and barely breathing :) fucking a log, you know :)

I installed and it went so quickly I didn't even notice it was "boring".

Installing windows has always been a boring task for me, no matter what the version..

I remember installing Windows 3.11 with eight floppies..
