I want to start tube site with script that do the import thing
I like TubeAce script and JMBSoft TubeX

which script is better in your opinion, please share your experience

whichever one you write your own descriptions/titles/tags for rather than using dupe content

You obviously have not spent much time with tevs or black label tube script, they can't be compared. Smart tube is nice because it has billing if that's what your looking for.

I'd suggest to try Nubiles Tube which is absolutely free. Why spend money on similar products?

Personally I'm using my own custom coded syonymizer which is based on CyberSEO code to automatically process the descriptions of all sponsored FLV dumps and XML feeds before to syndicate them to my tubes. Actually this was works with ANY tube script, but I prefer to use Nubiles Tube because it's free and it has everything I need to import xml feeds and FLV dumps of ANY known format (on-the-fly format conversion is also done via my own script.)

For those who don't have a synonymizaer, I'd suggest yo use MORPHING FLV dumps from Real Bucks - they use an adopted version of Morphing Feeds algorithm :winkwink:

Have no idea about their support because it was never needed to me. As about quality, there are no ideal products in our non-ideal world, but I find that script pretty solid.

Im using nubilies tube script on a couple sites.

I like it,and its free :thumbsup

Few small bugs here and there but it gets updated every couple months,last update fixed all the bugs that i had found.

And its able to handle over 100k traffic no problem so far.

Yeah, if you just need basic tube functionality than the Nubiles script is great.
If you want a full blow community/affiliate driven (pay) tube than i would suggest you go for another script.. like ours :upsidedow

I`d go with smart tube pro very se friendly script, got 7k se in 3 weeks time + community module is very strong there ask Godsmack for a demo you`ll like it i am sure.

this is the best. if u want to add premium smart pro but tube X is going to have a premium option in 2010 :winkwink:

gaytube.com is a good example of a community driven paytube..(not running our script though, it is a highly modified commercially available script)

Agreed tubeX is a quality product from quality people we learned to respect over the years.
tubeX however is pretty basic feature wise.. we kinda targeted our script at a slightly different niche in the tube industry.

STP is fully coded and has it's own set of features, everyone using STP will have the same features unless modified.

Konrad's MechBunny tube script starts out as just the basic tube script and you create your own needed features and he builds on from there... Nothing to really compare with otherwise I would of had him at the top of my list above, except the fact that they wanted full featured script and not a custom script.

Hey, waxy, I never tried to make a tube site with a tube script. Good luck picking the better script.

Honestly if you want a fast efficient tube script you should check out my sig. Within a week we will have a import database that will have over 10k videos for our clients to install.

Our script was designed to handle heavy server loads and was designed with the webmaster in mind with super easy administration + we have a lot of ad options in our flash player to just name a few great features.

You can gamble with other companies but if you buy BLS you are guaranteed support and fast at that.

ive tried both and both are good for the function you are looking for "mass import"

Actually I'm against of all so-called "community driven paytubes", because you can't be sure that content uploaded by surfers will be legal. I don't want to run anything potentially illegal, so I pass on it.

I just pointed out that STP can do it.. it doesn't mean you have to. STP can run any kind of tube site you want. Btw, i do agree with your opinion about user uploaded content.

Amen brother, although I respect the concept if it could be controlled, it ultimately cannot be. That is why we have steered away from this software model.

Our user upload system can also be used to have sponsor submit accounts where sponsors upload their content.

Well I dig into all tube scripts out there from Tevs,BLS,STP,TubeAce and TubeX
finally I bought TubeX, I like it the most it's easy and simple

Here I post my opinion

TubeAce I tried their trial 7 days, it's cool and professional especially the XML feed and improt thing but I didn't like their flash player beside the insufficient explanation of the whole functions of admin panel that's what I dislike about it

TubeX I like it as they use JW Player and the import video thing is very cool beside there is very nice guide explain all aspects of the script

Smart Tube Pro , it's totally professional script and beat them all but it's 5 times price comparing to TubeX and I'm not looking to build huge thing so TubeX was enough to do all the tasks I seek

TEVS, in fact I haven't dig much into just a quciky over look from inside and outside and did comparision with TubeX, I found TubeX is better for my needs

BlackLabelScript, this is one is nice especially the three templates that come with, neat look and nice function but I found TubeX has way more functions comparing to BLS and it's price is lower too.

Finally all scripts are good in general it's just depends on what you need

In STP you can use any player you want..also JW Player..just to clear that up that with STP you are not stuck with Flowplayer.
