the future of porn ...

it is not about a content, it is about how you sell it ... it is not about ohw you sell the content, but about how you feel it ... it is not about how you feel it, bit about stay alive ....

Argos88 12-09-2009 06:25 PM

I'm still waiting for someone to explain what they mean with "Diversify" and "Adapt".

Just wonder. I'm sure two different webmasters saying the same words in a thread, are referring to two totally different scenarios.

Barefootsies 12-09-2009 06:34 PM

Who are you again?

Thanks.

fatfoo 12-09-2009 06:43 PM

Some empty words that don't mean much.

Definition of divesify is simple. "Don't put all your eggs in one basket."

For example:
Instead of doing just employment to make money, you can:

Employment, Business, Investments - Stock market etc, give out loans to people, etc.

CaptainHowdy 12-09-2009 06:47 PM

The future of porn it's not watching porn anymore...

Argos88 12-09-2009 06:47 PM

I know that already, thanks anyway. Just wondering what they mean with diversify and adapt when they answer to those threads.

jtrade 12-09-2009 07:24 PM

Yeah! No porn is the future!

THE FUTURE!

THE FUTURE!

THE FUTURE!

Adapt or Die means never sitting still. The 'net continually changes and you have to change with it or you will die, 100% of the time. If all of us that have been around for a bit still did the same thing we did when we started, we would all be dust.

The future of porn is free blowjobs streamed straight to your usb slot.

Paul Markham 12-10-2009 03:50 AM

The product we sell will continue to get simpler as more is put into chasing people in an effort to buy.

Zester 12-10-2009 04:19 AM

The social media movement is creating a new wave of Porn addicts. Now its only peeking in Facebook or MySpace in your "friends" albums, having mental fantasies with your friends if you are single or if you are married with their spouses (and daughters?), perhaps downloading a pic or two for a quick sexual release. These are the ones that never looked for porn. Or have seen porn but left it soon, since it was a very extreme approach to do it (some catholics, for example). But looking at that pics seem ok to them, so the social media is quietly awakening their obscure impulses and natural insticts as I said in the first paragraph (everyone is perv, but some take more time to find out about it), so soon they will start looking for more explicit stuff or using the current apps and software to create mashups of their social media pics collections (photoshoping, etc). I see this with my conservative friends, how suddenly they have started to comment the "light porn" of social media and sending phtoshoped stuff (now as fun), as if they were discovering the things they have been missing. So a second wave of porn addicts is coming, the thing is..... are you are ready to attend this new wave?

If women start behaving like men... why would men still need porn?

NBBCash Matze 12-10-2009 01:22 PM

HD, 3D, natural babes, more interaction and crazier fetishes ..ok that are really no new ideas but a world without porn is unthinkable.

I think it is too simple to say there is one trend, I see one side in a rush to the bottom and other business models trying to increase quality and unique content.

On one hand 100s of TV channels with lower and lower cost / hour programs and pay per view high quality high cost HD drama etc...

I think computers will grow as delivery system and as bandwidth increases viewer perception and demand for quality will increase. Although there will remain a market for cheap and dirty porn these will be paid for by ads and quality will be low....

I believe there will also grow a demand for quality product with beautiful girls.

Also there is a market of non religous middle class looking for more inteligent and can I say woman friendly erotic material that could break out of the porn getto.:2 cents:

Bossman 12-13-2009 04:22 PM

The future of porn is the same as it has always been... just different delivery methods :2 cents:

RadicalSights 12-13-2009 04:24 PM

the future of porn is not too good

Sell what?? It is all given away for free on the tube sites. anyone who thinks tube sites hae not totally crushed the affiliate's role in the adult biz has their head jammed so far up their ass they can taste food as it is coming down the throat.

The only safe place now is niche and micro-niche marketing. And eventually enough of that will show up on the tubes to crush them too...

AtlantisCash 12-13-2009 05:17 PM

More interaction, More Social Networking...

What is the value of social networking, outside of traffic volume? Does anyone actually pay attention to ad space there? I don't know of anyone who would admit to looking at banners, never mind clicking on them on myspace or facebook.

frankie_gunn 12-13-2009 07:30 PM

I think the Kink's The Upper Floor is the next generation of porn websites (better said 'communities').

Agent 488 12-13-2009 07:35 PM

the future of porn is immersive 3-d environments without glasses and brain scan voyeurism.

Hasn't it more or less always been about how you sell? At least since the gold rush ended.

Depends how you think of it. Porn is a repeat buy consumable product. If you treat the buyer as a one off he will eventually educate himself. Keeping people buying is the key, not selling to initially. Be it from your site or another site, he gets off one site and joins another. Or decides it's best not to buy at all.

Everyone is a repeat buyer of almost everything.... it just depends if they remember to buy it again or not. Porn isn't different because it is porn, it's not special because it's porn.

It's simply part of the Internet and part of the global buying power, if you can get it in front of the buyers you have as much of a chance as a sale as the toaster guy.

If a person buys from you, in any niche, it's a relationship/connection with the buyer, then. It not anything unique because it's porn.
