Deleted a few contacts and now its letting me add more, even though i have less than 70 prob around 60 now!

I had problems with ICQ today too. I couldn't login for a few hours

ICQ deletes my contacts when I try to move them.

It's a shit IM.

Today i also had a problem with ICQ. Couldn't login into one of my accounts. Now it seems to work properly.

I have to delete a contact eveytime I go to add one.

stupid thing, it never used to be this bad. . . did it?

There are many alternative clients that support ICQ protocol :)

I had never a problem with ICQ...in 8 years.

wouldn't let me yesterday, tried 3 times and eventually it let me.

Happens now and again for me as well, not a huge problem though

no over the years they have slowly evolved it into a program designed for low attention spanned 10 year olds and any professional qualities it once had flew out the window a number of years back..

I used it religiously for over 10 years, but had to stick to the older 2003b version just to avoid all the crap on the new ones. Now those old versions have, probably literally, been sabotaged by them so nobody will use them anymore so I had to finally switch over to Astra this year...

The good news is that Astra is very slick... no banners whipped in my face distracting me, no idiotic emoticons turning your messages or urls into an animated nightmare... just straight messaging! :)
