how do you handle your passwords?
those of you promoting hundreds of programs.. do you ever change login passwords? do you use the same password on all programs? how often do you change passwords and what method do you use to do so?
|
pass = 123456 for all the programs
FTW :thumbsup |
i have everywhere the same easy to remember login. if someone see my stats, he may enjoy :) only to email, epass and important things i am using 10+ chars combinations of my easy pass :winkwink:
|
I use my dogs name for everything
. |
carefully.
|
i use randomly generated passwords for everything and manage them with 1Password on my mac and RoboForm on my pc. Both are well worth the small fee.

using a combination of a site name, number and object.. such as gfy123dog ...
|
I use lots of passwords as there are many arseholes out there that would use the passwords to change details like address or payee name just to be a wanker!
|
different password for everything
I seem to have a bionic memory for random combinations and add in an algorithmic variance to a shorter group of randomness so I don't actually have to remember 100 different random groups, just 5 to 10 with an algorithmic variance to keep every password completely unique |

You can also take a look at:

any program that is handling your passwords is much more dangerous than having one pass to multiple sites :2 cents:
|
I use my username as my password.
|
I have a book with all of them written down
|
Roboform works great

Careful what you post, or this could become a great thread for social engineering :winkwink:

roboform is da king

notepad, different random long generated pass for each program.
|
I randomly autogenerate a password for each program (260 of them, another 120 in one big CC Bill account so it doesn't count)
I keep them all written down in several places. And to access all of the stats/webmaster areas in a browser quickly I just click on the program in Stats Remote |
i'm a simple guy, I just type the word 'password' where it asks for a password so it's easy to remember. Esp for banking and server info, i mean i have to go into those every day and if they had complicated passwords I'd surly forget them
