"Minimize All" in XP - How
I loved my "Minimize All" button in Win2000 Pro. Now I have XP and no minimize all button.
Any advice on how to get it back? |
right click your taskbar
then click the "start menu" tab and select the radio button that says "classic start menu" |
I asssume you are talking about the "show desktop" button that you had in your menu bar? If so, you don't need the classic view to get that to work.
|
Press the Windows button and "d" together...
|
yeah use the Show Desktop icon - place it on your systray/taskbar (however you call it) and minimize everything with one click on it
|
It's Windows Key+m
|
if you want that icon back.. do this:
right mouse button on your taskbar. -> properties -> show quick launch -> ok |

Yeah don't you fucking hate it how XP removed the best feature windows every developed (minimilize all). At least from default anyhow.
Whenever I reinstall XP ( and forget to backup my settings) I have to spend 2 hours going through XP removing all the shit and putting the good options back on. Hrmm, might be a good time now to backup my settings to cd. Sammy |
Im in the process of doing that very thing lol
