How often to you sleep outside???

Ever just grab a pillow and blanket and crash outside??

patio, lawnchair, grass....I don't care if its winter or fall, if it's not raining it's always nice to fall a asleep outside with fresh air and under the stars. It's so fucking quiet, no fans running or electronics humming.

xenigo 12-03-2009 03:11 AM

I've never done that. I'd probably get eaten by squirrels. :) I could imagine doing that in Hawaii because it's a much warmer climate... here in Sacramento (and Stockton) it gets pretty fucking cold at night when it's not in the middle of summer.

Raf1 12-03-2009 03:21 AM

I've done it a few times in Spain, but not for a while now

True, No stars tonight, just a bunch of fog.

Natalie & I slept out on a beach front in the south of the UK a few years back. It got freezing cold from the clear night sky.
The shooting stars that shot across the sky was a fabulous display, however the "so cold" breeze that ran up my arse everytime Natalie hogged the only duvet we took was a fucking nightmare! :winkwink:

Was great to wake up on the beach in the sun though! :thumbsup

only on my boat is summer

BlackCrayon 12-03-2009 06:02 AM

your girl kick you out of bed? i've slept in tents plenty of times but never just totally outdoors. not since i was a kid anyways.

sicone 12-03-2009 06:05 AM

I fell asleep (passed out) on my porch one night. Not sure if it counts, but I gotta be honest... It sucked ass. I still have no clue why I didn't make it the last 3 steps into the house.

JamesK 12-03-2009 06:06 AM

I passed out in a garden a few years ago.

katharos 12-03-2009 06:11 AM

i am sleeping outside many days in summer cause i am drunked and outside is better air, and many times i am also sleeping outside on my trips ... nothing better than waking up cause of rain in the middle of nowhere ... :)

KILL_FRENZY 12-03-2009 06:32 AM

:1orglaugh Does dead drunk on the balcony count?

Lace 12-03-2009 07:18 AM

I'd love to sleep outside but the weather here is nasty right now and not to mention the amount of bugs. I live in the sticks and if it's a clear night, I can see every star up there :)

bobby666 12-03-2009 07:29 AM

only if i am drunken somewhere

czarina 12-03-2009 07:34 AM

I havent done it in a long, long time. May be this winter I will. My son will love it and my husband will hate it :~)

The Duck 12-03-2009 08:26 AM

Can't really do it here even in the summer, too cold.

Evil Chris 12-03-2009 08:47 AM

I set up a 4-man tent in my backyard a couple times each summer and do backyard camping with my son.

It's great. I run a wire out there so we can watch a DVD with popcorn, and we roast marshmallows etc... He used to want to go inside eventually but now we sleep out there.

Antonio 12-03-2009 09:02 AM

nah, I'm too good looking, countless women will take advantage of me

CyberHustler 12-03-2009 09:09 AM

I did in the army. Sucked every time.

Roby 12-03-2009 09:16 AM

some time it happened

Furious_Male 12-03-2009 09:18 AM

I have fallen asleep in my tree stand waiting for sunrise a few times. It is peaceful in the middle of the woods.

Scott McD 12-03-2009 01:04 PM

On vacation sometimes, but certainly not here... :1orglaugh

Honez 12-03-2009 01:10 PM

I would be afraid the coyotes and foxes would eat me :) I do love to go camping though

quiet 12-03-2009 01:15 PM

we go camping all the time in the summers, hike to remote locations (in the mountains and glaciers) and just chill for a couple of days.

i've spent more than a few times sleeping on the beach in and around the southern islands of Thailand, and the coast of Cambodia.

Not where I live. I live in the heart of the city, and there is always noise.
