How do I figure out WTF is going on with my ISP?
Ok so I have a road runner turbo (10mbps, more like 7) account. Lately it has been cutting out completely at random times throughout every hour while I'm working on something or playing xbox. Sometimes it won't work for 10 minutes, sometimes it comes on after a minute or so but will only drizzle a measly 0.1kb/sec speed, hardly enough to even load google.com, and then sometimes the wireless network will be there and I'm connected and everything but it has no internet access - I've restarted the router and all that bs they tell you.
I would just contact brighthouse themselves but you know how that is, they're just going to run a test to see if it's working and then say "well it says its working on our end", if even that. Anyone got some tips/tricks? |
