Ask your host to find out if your IP address has been blocked. You can get it by going to ip-adress.com and yes its spelled right.

Happened to me with my old host. They unblocked it immediately.

try it 2 ways.

http://www. and
http://

I'll bet you need to change what's called your Host File. I've had to to do that a number of times for various reasons that I don't quite understand.

Here, I found this.

http://www.brighthub.com/computing/s...les/56992.aspx

Open NotePad: Once Notepad launches, select File, then Open. Navigate to the hosts file path (typically at c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc), then select the hosts file. Make your changes, then save your changes. After you save your changes, you may close Notepad. Changes you make take effect immediately.

your then going to put in a web address and an ip

www.mysite.com 64.101.11.101

into that host file.

you will need to run Notepad as administrator. To do so, you need only find the notepad shortcut in the Accessories folder and right click on it, then select Run as administrator.

* when opening the file in notepad, make sure you change it from .txt files to all files or you won't see it, and when you save, just hit "Ctrl S"

You'll just need to know what ip address your site is at.

good luck.

I was about to say the same. I have some old domains/sites on a basic shared host and I often used to encounter this problem where my IP was being blocked.
