Torrent site Mininova is now all legit.

i they just got timehifted. will be back later in the year.

It's interesting to observe the amount of torrents removed, because the torrents removed are also at the same time admitting they were infringements. So this actually shows the amount of piracy. They have 5 movies in category Action now. How many did they have before?

No kidding.... thousands before... but also, a lot of it was crap as well... :2 cents:

Its actually unbelievable that they got away with it for that long at that so many similar sites still continue doing what they do

Those Magnet links are neat... no more trackers needed. I tried a couple this evening and after a few minutes after sifting through all the peers, it finds out what it actually is, and then downloads it, no torrent file needed... just a link.

It's a good thing.

No not really.. because for every major site that goes down, improvements to the technology are made... now it's entirely possible to not even have torrent trackers anymore, and how do you charge someone with copyright infringement when it's only a link, no file, no .torrent files, no content... just a link.

i like their new approach. could be fun. we'll see commercial releases and extended promos instead of garbage filmed on a shaky cam.

i only use private trackers for daily dls anyway :P
