Can I publish a DVD/Porn with no sound? Is it acceptable?
 

Pretty new to filming content. Did some POV videos and there isn't really much sound other than a shitload of camera shakes, a bit of my annoying voice directing the girl what to do, and most importantly a few moans from the girl here or there. Is it acceptable now a days to sell DVD's or videos online without sound? I was thinking of putting some porn music in place but figure if it's all music the end user can just play their own music if they wanted to listen to music while watching porn. I know the last 4 years in my housing conditions I rarely get the opportunity to watch porn i download with sound anyways.

i wouldn't like it. and learn to "direct" without talking to the girl unless it's part of the scene

My voice is just really annoying on recordings... The end users will get pissed. In the future I might be able to direct it properly but how do I get rid of all the noises from the camera whenever i move my hands on the grip it records a sound, i guess i can use an external mic...

yes - external mic is crucial. even better: use a boom mic and place it above the girl (out of sight of the camera)

Thanks, I will do that in the future for sure, for now I got 10+ videos with sound i rather not have in. Do people publish vids with no sound of will the end user be like wtf.

I think without sound/voice will be very hard do it something with this. I think today is not a problem put some voice/audio and montage scene ;)

Hmm I guess, i'll just try to edit out anything annoying i say, just write over with common background sound i guess :)

I would add some music and some background moans and slurps. Cover up your mistakes by making your customers think your product is artistic.

yeah - just cut out the voice and copy & paste sound from other parts of the video. no one will notice

You can't have absolutely no audio on a DVD- the end users will think it is defective. Edit in some room tone and other sound from other parts of the video. It might be tedious to do, but it will make sense at least if you do it carefully.

put some fart sounds over top and the girl saying "sorry."

ugh alright, i guess ill be jacking off for two hours again tonight while watching the video and editing the sound this time :(
