I think i have a sleeping problem

Not sure if this has to do with me getting older or just not getting smashed every night and passing out.

I cant fall asleep for crap, and honestly I don't even like to go to bed... but I love to sleep and HATE to get up regardless of when it is.

Recently I have been up until 3am to 4am or later. If I got to bed around 11pm, I wake up around 2am completely awake. Ive tried taking sleeping pills, but this is something that I dont want to rely on for the rest of my life as a fix to go to sleep.

Last night (actually this morning) I went to bed at 6am and woke up at 11:30am. I fell asleep for about an hour and a half and woke back up around 1am, watched a movie then did some work.

Most times I am just tired and have to push myself to do anything besides sit here and watch TV. I dont have a normal schedule so maybe that is the problem, but I dont know. Id love to go to sleep around like 12am and get up around 8ish and go to the gym... but I think I have better hopes of flying than that :1orglaugh

If u ever figure out a "cure" let em know, our "schedules" are identical, except for the work part, if I am awake I am working(with the tv on in the background)

Drinking much coffee? Or taking any energy drinks? Or using any wacky herbals or medication?

If not then are you doing any exercise? Good workout does it for me usually.

Have you tried reading before going to bed that works sometimes too or maybe im just reading boring shit

Anyway good luck with that

It's your diet. No carbs of sugars a few hours before you set a sleeping time/pattern.

Sounds like this is worth a shot.

I have always been a night person. Left to my own devices I prefer to stay up late and sleep a little later. I used to have all kinds of sleep issues (and still sometimes due but those are art related - long story) but a few years back I started eating healthy foods. I cut most meat from my diet and ate a lot of fruit and veggies. Not only did I start feeling better I started sleeping a lot better. So if you are eating a bunch of greasy foods and things like that, they might be part of the problem.
