I've always thought Nina Hagen extremely talented -- Certainly very unique. I was not prepared, however, for this video. It is at once both brilliant and hysterical. I should not have taken a drink while watching it, though, as that led to choking when caught off guard by one of her shrieks.

but her band in the first video is great - they became later famous as "Spliff" and the members are still successful as composer or producer today

Her and Dutch rock singer Herman Brood used to be an item. I actually believe she made a song about him doing drugs. years later he jumped off a building and killed himself.
