Uber designers?
 

Where are all the uber good designers that were around years ago?

Über low prices drove us to mainstream and in-house positions with programs.

They are gone. Uber is not cheap. Pretty much anyone left on GFY is not uber.

curious to see some of your work and if you work on per project basis

quoted for truth. I think there are a few still around, but working 4/5 days for $200 that MAYBE will be paid some day.... isn't very appealing. The good ones left still can charge their usual prices and are quite busy I guess. Just my :2 cents:, no fucking idea what an uber designer is or thinks

I am with a program, in-house...remotely. I still do occasional stuff on the weekends -- much of which is through Sarah at Zuzana. Drop me your email address and I can send you an email with links to my past work. That way I don't have to pollute the thread with a giant link dump LOL

Zayne does killer work and has been doing stuff with me for awhile. He's done mostly mainstream up to this point but all of his work is on time and slick. I have relied on repeat clients and clients that don't mind paying higher prices. Too many people in adult expect high quality, extremely fast turn arounds and they want to pay next to nothing for the projects.

sounds like my life in construction. Well if stupid schmucks would stop giving out those low prices the idiots seeking a great designer for a price that is not even worth the time then maybe things will change. until then just deal with the crap.

if you want uber, pay an uber price not a yugo price. last i heard uber costs money.

My "uber" pricing is reflected with the supply and demand for my product.
I have no problem getting work and would like thank all my loyal clients for that.

I guess there is a demand for uber low quality at uber high prices. I'm glad you are here to supply the masses that actually want that.

How about this, from your portfolio, you post something that YOU feel is a "Good Design" and I'll tell you why it isn't.

Again, my goal is to make sure my clients are 100% happy, and they have been for the last 5 years. "Good Design" means sales and repeat customers. Every single site in my portfolio is a "Good Design" as my clients were happy with it. I just want to see what you think is a "Good Design"

My goal is not to make you better by providing you with something to strive toward. My goal is to call B.S. on your quality vs. pricing. You are WAY overpriced, and I should take back my previous statement, you aren't uber-low quality, you are about mid-road mediocre, but for the prices you have set, you are rediculous.

We all have an opinion and I respect yours. My clients have no problem with my prices and that’s the only people I care about. I provide a service that’s available 15+ hours a day, 7 days a week via Telephone, e-mail, icq and my own client management system I have set up. If you think I’m over priced that’s your opinion. I do try and work on everyones budget as well and make that very clear to all my clients.

btw, cheap or expensive, most AMAZING adult designers.... aren't from US. And those AMAZING design firms that APPARENTLY are from US.... outsource everything overseas. Just a news flash :winkwink:

Well, thats a first, I emailed you people at least 3 times in the last 6 weeks and have yet to receive a reply. Perhaps you could not get the php work done that I needed done. On the other hand, any reply acknowledging you got my email would have been nice. :2 cents:
