Wordpress Gets Its Own App Store
thats gonna make some people a lot of $$$$
I'll check back when its big and backed by quality developers.
add ons and plug ins for open source software should also be open source :2 cents:
Pretty smart way to monetize. Hopefully it doesn't kill free plugins.
Who's running the wordpress app for the iphone? I like it.

ive bought my fair share of plugins
3 of their footer links dont work
We may see some premium plugins on sale soon .
it may be a good thing.
yes the free ones are ok, but often just ok. if people can make some cash from them, then you should see some great ones. i wish i had thought of the site as its been needed. |
Many plugins cost money already... this should be a good thing. I see it bringing in many kick ass plugins that people will only make if they get paid on.
lets face it there are lots of free as well as paid thems.
so no harm in having paid plugins as long as they work and do what it says it will do. |
The site is not sponsored by Automattic though?
I'll have to check this out in a few. Sounds pretty interesting.
Thanks for sharing, I see a couple that I can use. :)
I am not at all adverse to paying plugin developers if they have a product that helps me out. |

Some of the plugins sound interesting, like seo booster pro.
Those plugins are trash. Most already exist as free plugins or are so ridiculously simple that they shouldn't require a plugin.
A banner in a sidebar plugin? Seriously? Anyone who spends a dime there is a moron. |
