very serious question for legal experts or long term webmasters
 

i have a typical adult blog hosted on a big host like hostgator and have it registered with a very big domain provider

now an aran nation govt's cyber crime division is sending me emails for info and closing the blog down


all it has is naked girls..many are latinas, but i label them as arabs and i used their nations flag on my site...

Can this govt get my info from my domain provider and HOSTING company?


is tehre anything wrong with talking about arab girls and using an arab nation flag and even editing the flag??

i see edited US flags all over the web..even president images being modified..


ijust am a lil worried that they will close my HOSTING which has a lot of blogs
or that they will get my info and some crazy arabs will be after me

But seriously, other than putting a fatwa on your head, their legal recourse tends to be limited quite substantially to international requirements for adult content.

If all of your business parameters meet the standards of the jurisdiction you abide in, you should not worry too much.

You should keep into consideration, however, that if they do take things to the extreme, there are certain international standards regarding hate/anti-religious speech that they can attempt to categorize your site under. Particularly if it is an islamic state (and you are using their national flag).

In short, lawyering up might not be such a bad idea.

The only problem I see is that you use their flag.

Since you use latinas under a fake flag... just make your own flag of something with photoshop. Put some arab characters and you are ready to go. Make sure that what you put on the flag is not something offensive in arabic language and you are done.

Ask some arab translator to write "Our models have no hemorroids" and put that on the flag you have just invented. As much your site will make it in the news for the webmaster being stupid resulting in more sales... or get you viral marketed by some "smart guy", resulting in more sales again.

As for the flag itself... don't worry much. 90% of the americans don't recognize any other flag than the USA one. You can safely make your own flag and everyone will be happy.

Their internet content complaints to the western world fall on deaf ears.

In theory they could nab you at the airport if you ever flew into their country, but I've never heard of this happening.

for example, if porn is illegal in a nation, and you put fake descriptions against pictures saying that they are pics of girls from that nations...can they try to come after me thinking that they are pics from their nation? All the pics are just from affiliate programs with my affiliate links
