The fireworks have been going off like crazy already today. They seem even louder this year. Public displays are fine, but it's the idiots who buy them to just basically cause as much chaos with them as possible that fucks it all up.

Every year it basically means hundreds of animals killed or injured, and many people seriously hurt or worse too. This ridiculous "celebration" should have been banned long before now. I guess the government makes too much money out of it to do that though.

I wish Guy Fawkes did blow up the houses of parliment anyway... :2 cents:

Don't allow 18 year olds (or younger) to buy explosives from shops...
