In the end, I think the adult industry has no choice but to accept a radical change. Every guy that turns 18 these days is already intimately familiar with the internet, making it exceedingly unlikely that he'll ever join a paysite.

Cams and dating aren't the only options, though. There's also gambling, penis enlargement, pick up guides, escort listings, sex guides, etc. Not to mention the possibility of one-way promotion of your own mainstream site, which can accept far more types of advertising.
