Interesting article found on XBIZ

Definitely a must read

I totally agree as we must all wake up to the fact that growth market are now outside of the United States and we must cater to their wants and needs.

I like the ending, its very true. A lot of Americans have never stepped foot out of the country so its easy to live in a bubble, I know I gained a whole new awareness of the world the first time I went to Europe.

LOL typical porn industry news story - the sources for this brilliant insightful information are a guy nobody's heard of who runs a site nobody's heard of http://www.eroticuniversity.com , complete with broken links, gallery updates for 2008 and a stellar Alexa rank of 1,928,353

and a guy who translates websites into foreign languages.

always amusing.

I don't get it, so you don't agree with it or are you just making fun of it because you don't like their site?

The funny thing is I have been lucky enough to travel to a few other countries and in every one of them almost every person I have met has never stepped foot outside their country.

I went to Egypt and the only person I met while there that had ever left Egypt was our tour guide who went to London once for a work trip sponsored by the tour company she worked for.

I have been to a couple of European countries and almost all of the people I have met there have either never left their country or have only gone to neighboring country. The difference is though going from France to Spain or England is kind of like going from California to Arizona or Washington to California.

So I would venture to guess most people live in a bubble

Aside from my rank above I think the article makes some good points. We are becoming a global economy. Only about 50% of the websites out there these days are owned/operated by US based companies. As more billing options open for those without credit cards or those living in countries that are traditionally hard to bill, more opportunity arises.
