Yemen gets its missiles and North Korea threatens nukes.
I understand from the latest google news that Yemen shouts "What the fuck?" and the US is embarrassed and lets Yemen have its missiles from North Korea.. while North Korea says "Fuck it.." and if it can't get its oil it's reviving its Nuclear program.
Foreign policy just doesn't get any better than this. |
first they never should have let them have those fucking missiles.
second they should fuck up north korea for even selling that type of technology to yemen |
The United States has apologised to Spain over the short-lived seizure of Scud missiles en route to Yemen - carried out by the Spanish navy acting on a US tip- off.

Why is everyone treating Yemen like an enemy nation? Is nobody brown allowed to have weapons?

Maybe its just me, or do you think all these 3rd world country should have access to missles that can deliver bio weapons? Bummer they had to give them back, I guess the USA needs to make a new law "No missles supplied to ANYONE unless its Russian, China or the USA" I bet they relialized that Yemen would have grounds for making them pay for the Scuds, so instead of paying Yemen for scuds worht Millions they just let the towels heads keep em. What right do we have to decide who gets to buy weapons?

"we're number 1" don't forget :1orglaugh :1orglaugh america needs a good ol' devastating attack on home soil might knock some sense into the country i personally wouldn't care if it got flattened tomorrow :1orglaugh |
I was at the grocery store and they had Yemen, 8 for $1. That's a good deal. They don't need missles, they are up to no good.
|
The US wants to be the biggest arms producer and seller and decide who gets them. Seems only reasonable to me.
Then 10 years later when they decide the "good guy" is now the "bad guy" he has to give them all back. Plus they can only be used for defense, especially if that means occupying other peoples countries. The whole thing seems totally reasonable to me. What's the problem??? |
You know, there might be reasons why we should be keeping Yemen from having weapons. But I am not hearing any of them here. I am hearing American ignorance, and I am hearing a fear of brown people and "ragheads".
Boy am I proud to be an American. :( |

Why don't you guys outside the US shut the fuck up with all the anti-US commentary too then and do some research to find out the answers to your questions. Stop assuming its because the US is trying to bully everyone.
If you REALLY believe thats all it is.. wonder why your own countries are such pussies that they just smile and bend over squealing " Yessir Mr Bush, you sho do gots a big cock.. may I have some mo' please." I'm not sure why, but it seems like you WANT to believe what you do and will continue to do so even if presented the answers that show otherwise. |
KILL THEM ALL AND LET ALLAH SORT THEM OUT
|
If somebody wants a missle bad enough, they will get it... You can just build your own. It's not exactly rocket science. :1orglaugh

Yemen backed Iraq during the first Gulf war, that's a good reason I think

Everyone hates the police until they have a psycho at their door waving around a shotgun.
Am wrong? |
"The U.S. citizen killed by a missile launched from a pilotless drone aircraft over Yemen was the ringleader of an alleged terrorist sleeper cell in Lackawanna, N.Y., administration officials said yesterday"
"In Pakistan, eight of the 10 al-Qaedudes arrested in a recent raid were Yemeni, including Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, whom the U.S. accuses of being a participant in the planning of 9-11. Authorities also believe that al-Shibh's brother was a key player in the bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen that killed 17 U.S. sailors. " |

However, if the US decided later that it wasn't cool with Yemen having those SCUDs it wouldn't be much of a thing to take them out. You can't exactly hide them well in the desert. |
Yemen: A Tough Zit To Pop An interesting article on Yemen.

Yemen recently agreed to not buy weapons from the North Koreans. This purchase was made before that agreement was made. Maybe they were trying to sneak them in so that the US did not become alarmed about it, but it backfired. Yemen tried to deny that they belonged to them first, then changed their story. With certain areas of Yemen being almost lawless, I personally don?t believe it was an over-reaction to board a completely unmarked vessel coming from North Korea to verify it?s contents and it?s destination. |
