lets try this again - Which companies have gone out of business in the last 3-4 years

Do not post if you are still in business.

Please no sponsor spam.

Simply post the name of any companies that you know for sure that are no longer in business. Also add companies that changed names and companies that have serious problems like not paying affiliates.

LOL, I read your other thread and didn't even reply let alone take part in the thread derailing, but asking people to post that they're out of business is just well... c'mon lol.

I'd say your best bet is to just paste each name into google, click the first link or the one that looks like it's what you're looking for, if it's not there then they're probably history..

good question.

You should have posted a list of all the possible sponsors you have in mind... :2 cents:

Really though, what is a more productive way of trimming that list down besides what I suggested? I think that's the only way you're going to get past this without lots of time wasted with the GFY fucks..:2 cents:

yeah a thread like this could attract a bunch of stupid responses.

I think one problem might be that there could be some sponsors that may appear "live", but haven't updated their sites or paid out in months...

Agent 488 10-18-2009 09:47 PM

Well then have a quick glance around the program to see if it's still active? Dead (but still running) sites can still make money though..

Edit: as for the ones that are still listed that haven't actually paid out in months IDK lol.. that sucks.

Edit #2: How the fuck does a sponsor continue getting rebills/payments but cut off webmasters? Isn't there some kind of processor interference here?

Are you serious? Where did I ask the companies who are out of business to post? I am asking everyone here. I am sure more than the company owners of said companies know about them going out of business.

I guess I will have to break this down with an example.

Me <- average Joe poster
I reply to this post " hey Adult Alchemy is out of business according to their front page: http://www.adultalchemy.com/ "

Pretty simple right? I guess not I am on thread two and people still don't get it and am saying I am doing something wrong here. I hope you people are just fucking with me and you all can't be this stupid, it is a simple fucking question.

"dead but still live" could be a whole nother category. I don't want to even touch that. I am asking a simple question that is black or white, is the company closed or not. If I can't get people to understand that there is no way I am going to ask people to post which companies are "dead but still live".

How does a company continue to get rebills but cut off webmasters ? ask ibill they wrote the book on how to do it.

thats not a problem, just a different question. I'll let someone brave enough to ask that question since the answers will varry, how long does it take to be "dead". some people might thing a week some people might think a year with no updates.

My question isn't theoretical, rhetorical, etc... its simple. is the company closed? Yes or No. Closed meaning... closed ? they made an announcement on their site, took down the site, etc... the only other questions I asked was if any companies changed names or if there are companies that are still "open" but stopped paying webmasters, ie Net pond cash.

jcsike 10-18-2009 10:22 PM

#1 net pond cash

will76 10-18-2009 10:28 PM

Here is one I just found: AdultGoldVault appears to be closed since their sites go to parked pages now.

(see how easy this is)

Killswitch - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-18-2009 11:06 PM

I will go through your whole list and check off if they are still around, paying, or whatever you need, for $400. Dead serious.
