A Real Flying Car!
Is that the one where the wings can be detached in less than a min? I think I've seen one that can drive, fly, AND go in water.
kinda of strange looking
I heard there's one that can drive, fly, go in water, and has little ice skate blades that come out so you can land in the ice and do dips n twirls n stuff.

The best is that it is probably classified as a ultrasport by the FAA and you can easily get a license to fly it -- only 20 hours of time needed.
But does it come in blue?
Such things scare me. Not of heights or flying it. Just of others up there driving around. One thing to get your car dinged in a hit and run, another thing to have a plane slapping your house.
I can just imagine the insurance on driving one. |
There is a video of one that folds up and fits in a single car garage.
Looks interesting :)

looks like an airplane with 4 wheels to me

How fast and how long do you have to go to take off with that thing?

Great idea for good weather states like So Cal if you have business in other areas like Vegas, Phoenix, SF, San Diego... makes getting there so easy. Best part -- since its a plane you can finance it over 15 yrs if you want which means the payment is less than $500 a month. |
From an old concept....
Molt Taylor sold this particular Aerocar, Serial No. 4, to TV actor Bob Cummings, who owned it from 1960 to 1965. A suave ladies? man, Cummings often used his Aerocar to fly from Van Nuys to Palm Springs, California. Passengers included Marilyn Monroe and Lana Turner. |
