Hows does one unsubscribe from Paul Markhams newsletter

Whats the point of having instructions in your newsletters to unsubscribe when u ignore them, Ive tried unsubscribing several times...

How about running a properly mailing program so its all auto.. i dont want to receive them anymore!

I have no fucking Idea, but i've been trying for months to get off his goddamn spam list. That fucking old fart won't take it off..I've emailed him personally as well. So if anyone can find out, that would be appreciated

Lace 10-16-2009 09:50 AM

He's been having some health problems. Maybe his wife will stop in

Nurgle 10-19-2009 04:02 PM

Mr or Mrs Markham... can u please let us know how to unsubscribe!

Bman 10-19-2009 05:32 PM

I dont think he is in the best of health right now.
Dont see him on ICQ too much lately come to think of it but they are sending out the newsletter...

Grab the headers and fire off a spam complaint to the abuse department at his host.

I too am sick to death of receiving the damn newsletters for him, despite repeated attempts to unsubscribe.

Agent 488 10-19-2009 07:24 PM

have some respect. i don't think the old man is with us anymore.

Pleasurepays 10-19-2009 07:26 PM

unsubscribing simply confirms that its a good e-mail address that you use. its your way of saying "Yep! this is the e-mail you should spam me at... so put me back into the rotation in 3 months and play dumb"

Zorgman 10-19-2009 07:29 PM

Yep, tried 5 times to unsubscribe. I just keep getting them. Someone either Paul or his wife is sending emails. They should know what the fuck is going on.

dyna mo 10-19-2009 07:36 PM

i went through a period where i unsubscribed from many newsletters and now my email spam is seriously reduced.

unsubscribing worked wonders for my inbox.

fire off 3 emails to him asking to unsubscribe and that you clicked the unsubscribe button. Then send a copy of those 3 emails to his hosting company. Then, if they keep coming, you can sue him for $10,000 per email he continues to send. (check local can spam laws)

Take some of his money. He obviously does not care about the adult webmaster community, or there would not be 100+ complaints about him.

Cherry7 10-20-2009 10:30 AM

If that is you have to moan about you are lucky...

As Paul posted here that he is ill....

Get some perspective.

Your e-mail program should automatically put unwanted e-mails into spam folder, and if it doesn't get one.

MaDalton 10-20-2009 10:34 AM

i would worry if that was the only unwanted email i am getting - but since i get a few hundred every day, one more or less doesn't matter to me anymore

This. And because this.

Twig 10-20-2009 10:49 AM

Use GMail and mark it as spam. After about 2 or 3 emails, it should be taken care of.
