Finland pmakes broadband internet a right
Finland has passed a law the requires the telecommunications companies to provide broadband internet access (speeds of at least 1 megabit per second) to every person. "The country is aiming for speeds that are 100 times faster -- 100 megabit per second -- for all by 2015."

nice, love typos in the thread title :P

that is fucking kick ass. keeping people from being able to have internet access is like keeping the doors on all libraries locked!

Porn for everyone, yey !!!
|
interesting!
|
finally, im guessing most countries will be doing this within the next 5-10 years

Whoopee for us. I think it's already possible except for the most northern parts of finland. I even get like 5mbps wireless on my summer cabin which is on an island, like 5 miles off the mainland.
