Snow Management LA, CA - Have you heard of them? opinions please

A friend of mine wants to work for them, but they sound sketchy, anybody ever heard of them in LA?

I would check the city of los angeles home page, but last year when it snowed in San Bernadino, weren't the deicing trucks Cal Trans?
