What is a food you have not eaten since a child but you really like?

So we were bs'ing a little while back talking about our childhoods and the topic of foods we used to eat all the time as a kid came up but that we havent had in ages, mine was fish sticks, i used to love them but honestly dont think i have had them since i was in like 4th grade LOL

What food have you not had in ages even though you like it?

oh yeah i love that, they do it in a fast food version now that you nuke in the microwave for about 2 minutes once in a while ill have that when im feeling to lazy to cook hehe

Back in boy scouts we used to make breakfast sandwiches on a campfire in the mornings and we used to use these Hormel ham patties that come from a can, you pop the top and then it has like 10 patties separated by wax paper. They even had a variation with Ham patties with cheese.

I grew up in Maine and i'm pretty sure they still sell these items but I have not found them anywhere here in Northern Virginia. I just want some ham and egg breakfast sandwiches RIGHT NOW MMMMMM

And no it is not those black label block of ham or SPAM.

Cheap weiners ya got from mom and took down and roasted on a fire somewhere with your young buds. Loved em. Awsom.

We had a little creek 3/4 mile outside of a small town, now long gone.

Also remeber those tough, chewy caramels before you had fillings to lose.

Aaah kids and candy :)

Black jacks (taffy)
Chuckles
Pixie sticks
tootsie rolls
jawbreakers (damn)
bit o honey
red licorice
black licorice

I use to get 10 pieces for a dime. Anyone go back to penny candy? I doubt it Penny candy ended about 1975 :)

I make a really good 'grown up' fish stick using fresh salmon and polenta.

I haven't had a corndog in years so I will vote them.
