How much $$$ is enough for ibill???

How much money do i need to be bringing in through ibill for them to lower their percentage cut???

Last month my only pay-site running through ibill grossed a little over $12k and my rep told me that they wouldn't lower it (It's currently 15% their cut, and 10% 6month reserve)

This month for the same site it's going to be over $15k.....

Has anybody else here had any experience with ibill..... i mean getting them to lower their rates????

The easiest way is to switch to CCBill :)

i just look @ it as a cost of doing business.... just like any other cc processing company (rates are pretty much the same across the board with variance only around 3-5 points). use the "loss" or expense for tax purposes... you can make it work for you or you can sit here & bitch about it. up 2 u! ;)

Tell them your going to go to CCBill or Globill if they can't lower their rates. They'll lower it to keep your business.

lol, a difference of 3-5 points is a lot. It can mean hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. I'd say that's something to consider.

Damn dudes. Sometimes 15 people would post without a fucking real clue.

Ibill lowers down percentage automatically.

When Your statement is calculated the fee will be each time automatically chosen depending from Your sales IN PERIOD.
( in period, which means two weeks - that's kinda important and took some time to understand I remember).

They got the following stuff on their site:
$0-$9,999 15% 15.0%
$10,000-$24,999 14% 13.5%
$25,000-$49,999 13% 12.5%
$50,000-$99,999 12% 11.5%

That's again volume per two weeks.

Once You're over 10K per two weeks in sales - viola , 13.5% AUTOMATICALLY.
But, online checks sales dont count. You got to have over 10K in credit card sales.

Problem is when You go over 100K per two weeks. The shit doesnt change any longer to something lower automatically - You have to call, and that's , THAT'S a pain in ass.

Also sometimes this percentage goes different if chargebacks are high and also on big volumes it's a must to check each time how much they calculated automatically :) because their system although quite rare may produce a bug in this calculation which can easily cost You 3K$.

I always wanted to know how to change reserve % from 10 to something lower since I have heard that people done that so if anyone knows anything please comment.

We've got a 5% hold with iBill. I don't remember doing anything special to get it. We've just been with iBill a long time with good refund/chargeback numbers. It may also be a factor of volume.

Ibill is now *requiring* your RevShare affiliates to hand over the name and address of the banks where they CASH their checks - and can't give a reasonable explanation of WHY they want this private information that is none of their business.

Speaking with Cathy of Ibill on the Pond's board, she couldn't give a reason, but did mention "registering the RevSharers" and "identifying the RevSharers". Makes it seem like they're accumulating this information to hand over to someone else.

If you've got affiliates, you might want to think about using a processor that doesn't *require* private information that is none of their business in order to send out the checks.

Well. I was there since 1999.
Less than 2% chargebacks normally. Around 1-1.5%. Refunds - that's more, 3% or so percent, although as far as I understand refunds should not be important.

Volume - I'd say it's ok.

What's Your chargeback/refund volume?
