alert on link click??
 

anyone know the code to pop up some alert when someone clicks a web link... i know its done with javascript just cant find the code anywhere..

so for example you got <a href="https://gfy.com">GFY</a>

and when someone clicks it, it pops up an alert and doesnt go anywhere..

I found this: but its for forms.. i guess itll work

<input type="button" value="message" onClick="alert('YOUR MESSAGE GOES HERE'); return true">
</form>

That could be annoying... alerts every time you click a link :)
