strip-kittens.com

I am the owner of stripkittens.com and found my entire site at strip-kittens.com. How would someone do this and how do I find out the owner of his site? When I click on the buy page it just goes to our ccbill page. It is our entire site at some other pricks domain. Please help if you have any suggestions or information it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

BTW the software was created exclusively for our company.

CYF 10-09-2009 11:04 AM

Wow, that sucks. I thought maybe their domain was just pointing at your ip address, but it's not. You sure no one in your company set it up? It looks like an exact copy.

They're hosted at GoDaddy, I would contact them and see what's up.

Non-authoritative answer:
www.strip-kittens.com canonical name = strip-kittens.com.

Maybe some guy looked at the source code of your site and completely copied it.

Try to look up the whois info of the domain strip-kittens.com. Or search in webmaster forums for information regarding that domain.

Iron Fist 10-09-2009 11:39 AM

That's happened to me as well, someone copied my entire freesite on a very similar domain (a misspelled version of it)...but all links all pointed to my site... so I don't really know why they bothered to do it.... actually it was a good thing because they paid for the domain and the hosting and I get all the traffic anyways.

spunky99 10-09-2009 11:52 AM

its one of your affiliates, look at the source on the signup page for the affiliate id

LiveDose 10-09-2009 11:56 AM

If they are sending you the traffic maybe you should find out who it is first and contact them. As long as they agree to only send the traffic to your program it's a good thing, no?

Deej 10-09-2009 12:12 PM

its actually not copied at all... they simply have an iframe of your site on their domain... they are sending you traffic... get a grip...

It has to be someone on the inside though, it has absolutely no affiliate value.

Correction... it's a frameset.

If the owner of the real site doesn't even know how to view source, I suggest GET THE FUCK OUT YOU MORON! You have no business being online if you can't even research your own shit.

You are a developer / designer and you couldn't spot this?

You must not be very good at what you do.

LiveDose 10-09-2009 12:28 PM

I didn't bother to look at the link. I was responding to the post. Take your meds idiot.

Ok, so do you just talk out of your ass all the time or is this a special occasion?

The guy was asking for help, not opinions.

This folks, is called, deflection.

There is no proof here that WuT is an idiot or needing meds, but purely a statement to deflect the attention of ignorance on ones self.

LiveDose 10-09-2009 12:35 PM

Two idiots. Who's next?

Oh, I get it now. You designed the site! That's why you are defending your ignorance so adamantly! I can see the distinct lack of design skill similarities between your portfolio and the design of stripkittens.com.

If I had known that, I would have let you just provide your uneducated opinions and ass blathering uninterrupted.

LiveDose 10-09-2009 12:40 PM

It's what I do best.

LiveDose 10-09-2009 12:42 PM

Thank you WuTang there's always next time.

I agree. This is more likely a failed attempt at spam though.

CYF 10-09-2009 02:02 PM

You should be able to block him from loading your content :2 cents:

I do not understand why you have a problem with this. It is sending you traffic and it is still going to your ccbill. They are hotlinking everything from you and you can block that via apache. If they download the entire site after that then I advise going to godaddy and work on getting it shut down.

he didnt come back in 10+ hours to read responses or reply

spam thread. as usual.

mariosdead 10-10-2009 04:24 PM

Thank you for all the responses. I guess I just need a little clarification. I found them in my affiliates and this is not the site listed. Are they stealing from us or just linking our whole site? Either way I am having them take it down. They can build a site and put up some banners if they want to send me traffic.

pornpf69 10-10-2009 05:57 PM

it is probably someone trying to make some easy money...

DVTimes 10-10-2009 06:06 PM

all somone has done is bought the domain name then set it up as forwarding to your site whith (i prsume) there ccbill code.

do you not want affiliates?

they are not stealing from you they just have the domain name forwarded to your site.

if they do not make you sales (presumably due to lack of hits) then so what.

If they get you sales then great.

you have lost nothing.

your moaning about nothing.

in fact all it says to me if become an affiliate of yours and you get grief.

good look with that.

it doesn't just forward to the site, it hotlinks the whole site as a frame.
