What has been your best and your worst investment in this biz?
I'm curious :)
|
Each computer I have purchased.

Best investment? Production company.
Worst? Hmmm... probably TGP's Not that they were a failure. But they did not take off, or generate the same level or stable income, as my other things have over the years. They were erratic at best. |
bad investments ? :pimp

I bought a site for $100 bucks off JBM that has done about 40k a year since I bought it.
The other site in the deal (also 100 bucks) does about 18-20k a year. By far the best purchases I've made. With exception of my very first computer and internet connection back in 2003. |
I've made a few bad ones. Scripts, systems, domains, sites that were money down the drain. It happens to all of us.
The key has been our good investments. The best was Thumbzilla. We picked it up at a steal of a price. Not only have we made our money back 7 times over but it also was a key move in getting us to where we are today. Before the Thumbzilla acquisition nobody knew of Twistys. Since then we've been a household name :winkwink: |
best investment? good employees, and good advertising. worst? bad advertising lol.
