Thought you'd be in the car and heading down right away. Jon is at home, go down.... take the dog a walk too if you can, thanks!

What can I say... drama sells! lol

Its funny when the kitten goes for food or a drink, the dog follows him and stands over him watching till he's done. The reason for that is my mums cat wants to smash the kitten lol.

TurboAngel 10-08-2009 08:51 AM

I wish my cat would get along with my dogs.

When I got the dog as a puppy I had an older cat so he was used to them from 8 weeks old. That cat died and then my mum got a new cat. Sometimes she would take my dog to her holiday home and he got on fine with her new cat. Now I moved abroad so my mum took my dog for me. My little brother got a new kitten and it seems like Champ couldn't be happier haha. The kitten torments him at times tho when the dog just wants to sleep or chill.

Tom_PM 10-08-2009 09:29 AM

Oh the humanityyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute pets! Dogs so often get a bad rep because of their cat chasing. But usually they will "adopt" a kitty as long as it smells neutral, lol.

yuu.design 10-08-2009 09:40 AM

hahaha, funny post!

LadyMischief 10-08-2009 09:40 AM

My cats sleep with my dogs. YOu have to make sure that the dogs are trained that the cat is a leader above them. When my dogs were young I used to set the cats on top of them..they got the hint pretty quickly :)

Just out of curiosity, was the golden labrador an intentional mix or just something you found at the pound. I ask because I'm considering getting a yellow lab or golden retriever for my two young daughters, and didn't realize they were bred as a mix.

Raf1 10-08-2009 10:16 AM

very cute pics :)

He's a pedigree full breed Labrador. He really is a great dog. I live near two schools and the kids coming by after all stop to pet him. It gets to 3pm and he stands at the door wanting so he can get the attention. Love my dog.

two little devils. i think the grey one bit my thumbnail off once. not sure if it was him or is old friend of long ago.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 10-08-2009 12:44 PM

Cute!

I wish the dogs I encounter were this well behaved. I can hardly visit anyone these days without getting stepped on and jumped on by someone's large dog. I had an 8 inch bruise/cut on my chest from a friend's lab that wouldn't stop jumping up on me, and last week an acquaintance's pair of pit bulls followed my BF around the house growling with the hair on their necks standing straight up. Eventually the female nipped his heels twice while growling and we left because the owner didn't want to do anything to stop it, he just wanted to tell us over and over, "They've never hurt anyone!"

Can't stand ill behaved dogs! I think I need to email these pictures to all the dog owners I know!

John-ACWM 10-08-2009 12:46 PM

My dog goes up to people who come into my house but he never jumps up on them or anything. Only thing you need to watch out for is his tail wagging, it goes so fast and if it hits your leg it hurts lol. Once people sit down tho he is back to lying down or walking around the house.

Most important thing in having a dog is having it trained properly. My dog does what he's told 100% of the time.

I would be impressed if the dogs I know did what they were told 25% of the time!
