Just agreed to sell YouTailor.com for 10k.. Think its the right price?

Hey Guys,

I've had a buyer contact me about this domain and we've settled on $10k. Obviously its a brilliant domain for anyone looking to make a custom clothing company brand. Do you think i'm letting it go for the right price?

Cheers :thumbsup

The Ghost 10-08-2009 04:41 AM

Dance a jig and congrats. The buyer must REALLY like that domain :thumbsup

bloggerz 10-08-2009 04:46 AM

I agree.
IMHO that domain is not worth that money - so take the money and run!

After Shock Media 10-08-2009 05:03 AM

Take it and run, especially if its just parked.
Watch out if he wants to get it appraised or will not budge on which escrow service to use. Everyone should be willing to use escrow.com for example.

Nautilus 10-08-2009 05:19 AM

Yeah, take and run.

The Duck 10-08-2009 05:47 AM

The the money and run as fast as you can.

smutnut 10-08-2009 09:22 AM

If he's got any change left after the deal, I have this bridge up in the Frisco area I'd love to get off my hands.

NetHorse 10-08-2009 09:26 AM

That is a good domain and well worth the $10,000 for someone with a viable tailor biz.

Get off the fucking crack pipe! It looks like a parked domain and any tailor who could afford a website worth 10 grand would be much better off hiring a designer and building one customized and "tailored" to his specific business.

Very rarely do people fork over big chunks of change for no good reason at all. He probably already runs a very successful biz and wants this specific brandable name to expand online. He's not running a TGP site. :1orglaugh

BradM 10-08-2009 10:06 AM

It's worth about $80, so ya take the cash.

I don't believe you ;)

Fat Panda 10-08-2009 10:19 AM

not even worth $xxx take the money and run

PastorSinAlot 10-08-2009 10:26 AM

Jerks always saying something not worth shit

Davy 10-08-2009 10:36 AM

Take the money. And move soon afterwards to a new place.

Tom_PM 10-08-2009 10:38 AM

Only you can decide. Ask yourself. Will you be ok if they run national ads and rake in 100mil annually? Then do it :)

Yes, I understand, this is MUCH MORE lucrative than a tgp porn site. Like I said get off the crack pipe! :1orglaugh If it's so valuable why is he selling it?

You can't even tell if this site is selling domain hosting or textile adwords. And there is no way the conversions in this area compare to adult so get a fucking life.

DaddyHalbucks 10-08-2009 10:42 AM

Run all the way to the bank.

Sigh...Are you fucking retarded? The point is the name is obviously valuable to the buyer who more than likely already runs a successful tailor biz. Is that too hard for you to comprehend?

As the old saying goes, a product or service is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

The buyer agreed to the price, what morals are you talking about?

It's not like he's robbing him.

cykoe6 10-08-2009 11:04 AM

Seems to be about $9,990 more than it is worth so I would take the money for sure. ;)

Yeah, I'm broke and you're going to pay ten grand for this site! I'll bet you're part of the scam setting this guy up for something so hopefully he's reading this thread and doing nothing except an exact cash transaction.

This domain name is more worthless than you trying to explain the difference between "their" and "there" in a thread about domain value.

A couple of weeks ago I got a bullshit offer on one of my domains, the guy wanted it appraised, I guess he was just hustling for appraisals:2 cents: Good thing, I read about similar scams on here:winkwink:

Yeah, I'm part of the scam, clown. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh The whole point is when a domain is listed for sale it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That's clearly too hard for you to understand though.

BTW, custom tailor shops make a lot of money. The ones in upscale parts of big cities make half a mil+ a year (but OMG there is no adwords and what about conversions? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh).

Lets see, which scenario is more likely.

A.) This guy is just a fucking idiot and wants to give someone $10,000 for no good reason at all.

or

B.) $10,000 is a drop in the bucket for a long term investment for a brandable domain name that's likely already a thriving business for him offline.

or

C.) This is a Chinese scammer with a fake check that picked the owner of youtailor.com to scam.

To you it's worthless because you havent invested your lifes savings into creating a business for which that domain would be perfect. The buyer might consider it the deal of the century, the final jewel in the crown of his new empire.

You know what, I stand corrected.

This is what he should do.

Give exactly no personal info or credit card numbers. Have the buyer deposit the 10 grand into your epassporte account or send you a check. Once the check clears, you transfer domain.

Nothing more and nothing less. Dont' be paying any appraisal fees or enrolling in any programs or paying any "SERVICE FEES".

This site could be worth millions. What do I know? Like I said pay for nothing make sure you get one full clump 10k payment right up front.

I don't think anyone will argue with this procedure who isn't in on something.

Oh, AND PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED AS TO HOW THIS TRANSACTION WENT DOWN BECAUSE I'M CERTAIN I'M WRONG ABOUT THIS

10 grand is nothing to some people, just bear that in mind, lol. 10 grand? cigna ceo makes 56k per hour.

haha wow, I'm done with you. So you have no comment about domain value you now want to randomly change the discussion to how he's going to accept payment. Yes, because that's what this thread is about, I mean all the times he brought up method of payment and what service, (if any) he used to list the domain.

My suggestion to you is......Shoot yourself in the head, you're damaged.

$10,000 is a life savings yo. Who wants to invest that in a business that can't make as much as my TGP with an adwords campaign? :1orglaugh

edit:

Oh BTW, CRACKPIPES, GOOGLE ADWORDS TEXTILES, $10,000 IN YOUR EPASS ACCOUNT, CHINESE CHECKS, CONVERSIONS, SERVICE FEES AND CASH TRANSACTIONS.

I hope I made myself clear.

Dude I just think you're a moron scammer (and not even a good one).

People dont' get rich by (*corrected buy to by for moron scammer) being stupid and wasting their money on stupid worthless shit so there (*corrected their to there for moron scammer) goes that.

This site is not seo valuable and it's not visually valuable, so even a rich person tailor who doesn't know what (*lost the 's for moron scammer) he's doing on the web wouldn't look at it and go, "that's the site I need!"

And the name? (adding a question mark for moron scammer but this is really a just a phrase so I hope he approves) Are you out of you're fucking mind?! That's like McDonald's paying ten grand for a site that's called yourburger(dot)com LOL :1orglaugh:1orglaugh I guess maybe for a tax write off.

I mean, Dude REALLY, start sending around those letters about your international banks or something.

If I ever got banned over suspecting you of being a scammer, that would definitely become something people should think about.
