Phatservers

Anybody else notice since they switched their support has dropped a notch?? been well over an hour waiting for an email back and before it was instant response? Just my vent for today!!

v4 media 10-06-2009 06:19 AM

Still early in Cali unless you sent it urgent..
Haven't noticed a drop off, but the last few emails have been during office hours.

RenegadeCash Mark 10-06-2009 07:38 AM

Even Phatservers employee's need a jerk break!

woj 10-06-2009 07:46 AM

We're still very happy with the Phat Crew!!

18teens 10-06-2009 08:25 AM

Their support is still excellent.

nolongerexists 10-06-2009 08:44 AM

Well I have to tell them that my Virtual's apache is down.

No service monitoring at all it seems.

Thats strange because i have heard that their support is usually pretty decent?

Jakke PNG 10-06-2009 09:49 AM

Peculiar. Nothing wrong with my support tickets. Answered and solved quickly.
Before and after amerinoc name change. I still love them dearly.

I dont say it's not but I use support@ only when my server/apache is down.
Give me an account with 100% uptime of apache and I'm fine, don't need anything more advanced. Unfortunately downtimes happen pretty often.

gornyhuy 10-06-2009 10:16 AM

I just NOW had a phatservers tech support response, which included actually fixing my code, in under 9 minutes.

I haven't had any downtime since my last reboot, 165 days ago.

Smurfette:
Please feel free to contact me directly over ICQ 56 05 48 95 and give me your ticket number so I can look into why you are experiencing a delay.

blindzior:
Please contact me as well with your account name and server so I can look into your issue further. All servers are monitored.

Babaganoosh 10-06-2009 10:29 AM

I've got a virtual account there and haven't had any downtime. I do use a monitoring service so if something is broken I will get a message on my Blackberry. I opened a ticket the other night to resolve a DNS issue on a new domain. Right after I opened the ticket I went and took a leak and made a sammich. By the time I got back to my desk the issue was resolved.

Smurfette 10-06-2009 10:30 AM

XSV thanks but all dealt with now, just not use to an over 2 hour wait for a support ticket, before the switch it was always dealt with in less then 10 mins, so was shocked when it took so long. All straigtened away now though thanks :)

Adraco 10-06-2009 01:03 PM

Couldn't be happier with Phatservers/Amerinoc. They are always fast at responding, even low priority tickets. And should it happen once in a while that it would take an hour or two, then leave it at that.

Just because they spoil us by being fast most of the time, doesn't mean that will always be the case. Prepare a nice cup of tea, sit back and enjoy life and I'm sure your ticket will be handled quite soon. :)

kmanrox 10-06-2009 01:08 PM

i just got 3 new servers from moose this week... i've had servers with them for many years and the service has been very consistent to include staff turnaround.. I like dealing with the core group of skilled, prompt techs.

BradM 10-06-2009 01:11 PM

Can't say I notice.

YFG 10-06-2009 01:15 PM

I still love Phatservers! Their support always rocks. Once I had several servers at AdultEUHost. Now THAT was a real nightmare: I think I have waited there several times over 200 days for an answer to a ticket, so I wouldn't bother too much about 2 hrs :winkwink:

Horny Joe 10-06-2009 01:19 PM

Sent in a support ticket one hour ago - low priority - Got help 6 minutes after I sent it! Nothing less than FANTASTIC support!

One time you have to actually wait and you immediately run to GFY? :Oh crap

shermo 10-06-2009 02:20 PM

I've had a couple tickets that took longer than expected, but still faster than most hosts I've dealt with! I LOVE PHATSERVERS. :)

d-null 10-06-2009 10:23 PM

Phatservers are fine :2 cents:

u-Bob 10-07-2009 03:02 AM

Denny 10-07-2009 03:24 AM
