the IPhone is garbage

Apple might be the hottest phone on the market today, but they are fucking it up.

the exclusive deal with ATT sucks. ATTs network is overloaded. All my calls drop & the web doesnt work. I'm not the only one.

Flash is on the move, but Apple is letting the train roll out of the station without them. In a couple years, when every mobile device is running flash, & every mobile site is built around flash, Iphone users will be left in the lurch.

just my opinion, but apples obsession with controling the user experience is the kiss of death. They handed the PC market to microsoft with this same myopic philosophy in the 80s. The edge they have with the app store is not going to last forever. Other phones will play games & flash too, & will be connected to a network that actually works.

apples rejection of flash could be a disaster if flash becomes the coding platform for mobile games. that will flush the iphone right down the toilet.

Please, I just got one Friday and feel like an idiot for not getting one before :) iphone's not going anywhere joshie :)

iPhone is going nowhere. Flash will become available, yes it will take longer than it should but it will be coming eventually.

No other phone can come close to iPhone for funcionality and everything else. Personally I'm the cause of 5 friends and my girlfriend getting one. Everyone of them did it to shut me up, now they thank me.

but they just announced

Adobe Systems and Research In Motion Limited announced they are working together to bring Adobe Flash Player support to the BlackBerry platform. Research In Motion Limited is joining the Open Screen Project, a broad initiative dedicated to enabling standalone applications and richer Web browsing across mobile phones, televisions, desktops and other consumer electronic devices through the Adobe Flash Platform. The collaboration is expected to bring the full Flash Player browser runtime to BlackBerry smartphones.

Adobe/Macromedia screwed their selves in the ass when they pushed Flash over Shockwave. They pretty much treated Shockwave as a redheaded step child and ignored it even though it was a superior platform over flash for the upcoming webgames market. Now that market is here and Adobe has pissed it away.

Now they lost top dog and most iphone games for example are created on various other platform like unity3d for example. Torque was also doing a iphone system for building games.
