what are acceptable watermark sizes for pics and vids?

I was just playing around with this today. On a 700 wide video I ended up using a watermark that was 120 wide and it seems okay. Would love to hear some input from some others.

That is good for customers, but smaller watermarks can be easily cropped/overwritten, and they can also become unreadable when video was downsized and downconverted for tubes.

I usually make it sure that watermark is still easily readable after the video was downsized to 500 horizontal pixels. Same goes for photos too.
