If you use a free email then they require your utility bill but if you use [email protected] then they don't require the utility bill.

This actually makes decent sense, as it would cut back on affiliate fraud.

Yes it is and I hate adding people to ignore and I use avatars as place holders. Often he has something good to say too. Only reason I even told him I was placing him on ignore. Typically I just place them on it and be done. Oddly though most are avatar infractions, or assorted nicks of 1 person.

if programs had the right staff to filter out the bad webmasters personally none of this would be necessary... everyone runs their business their own way

Our programs are locked on approval only and indeed it increased my work hours by 15-20 hours a week

Look at it on the bright side though... you will be in touch with someone from the program which seems to be a tuff one these days for a lot of programs out there

Use Firefox with No Script and then just selectively block the avatar... then no matter WHAT they change it to, their avatar doesn't show...

Some people here have some pretty nasty avatars... I wouldn't know, because I haven't seen them.

Like that really helps anything? Come on most people hide the whois info. You can get emails for free from some domain names. Plus is the price of a domain really going to put off someone who is planing on ripping you off. Yes even scammers know they have a cost to do business.

I never said logical or anything else. They just do.
When I sent out w9 requests via email to my ccbill based program (I do not get their damn mailing addresses, unless they check to allow me to view it). I got so damn much hate male it was sick.
Told many if they did not send it in I would have to cancel their accounts. Of course I got plenty of the "my make believe attorney" threats and shit.

PS that is a major whole in the ccbill affiliate billing script.

People should really stop bashing this one sponsor. It is an either or option. Domain email (not free) or a utility statement.

Would never work with such a program.
