JD from www.monstersofblog.com has some nice themes listed, and probably the best of the bunch posted here. I'm still having a problem with all the cartoonish stuff.
We are selling to educated adults here, not children. Certainly for some niches or traffic the cartoony theme will fit the bill, but for some reason these designers think that a blog is supposed to be cartoony and childish.
Makes me wonder when the last time any of them surfed a successful blog.
I can't think of one that stands out as having a 'funny cartoon styled design'.

a WordPress design can be anything you want. And I mean ANYTHING. However, unless you go custom, I'd recommend you to use a mainstream one and modify it (or have someone modify it). Personally, I never saw a GOOD adult WP template, but I've saw a few custom ones (including our own custom themes, LOL). I think it's very hard to do something that caters to a broad audience, so maybe the adult templates are just like that because they sell better, while when going custom you can do more specific stuff

That theme is really nice. Probably one of the nicest 'adult themes' I've saw.
Jey_p , what I'm saying about the cartoon aspect is more about the stylings of the blog themes. Everything is cartoony or comic book like, instead of sleek and trendy, which most 'nice' high end mainstream guys are developing right now.
Check out www.studiopress.com (my personal fav) or www.ithemes.com , www.woothemes.com are just a few examples, but you can see the trend is toward that sleek and functional aspect. Much more professional and effective then a 'fun' or 'fantasy' themed site.
I am not talking about your themes in particular, but it seems to be the norm for all adult theme designers, we have no real 'stand out' premium designer or company. Someone could EAT up the competition if they did.
