They are usually the fastest for me it seems like

wizzart 10-01-2009 05:55 AM

Yeap, GoDaddy is much faster

u-Bob 10-01-2009 05:55 AM

yep, they're one of the slowest registrars out there...

alias 10-01-2009 05:58 AM

Their updates must be on crontab, def. not instant. Not a big deal just was like wtf.

Are you sure it's not just a cache problem? Try visit your site using a proxy: www.url.sc

docputer 10-01-2009 06:09 AM

My experience with them is the opposite. Usually things resolve quick for me. May be just luck, but who knows.

Namecheap dns changes usually happen pretty quick, within minutes for me. GoDaddy on the other hand takes up to a few hours usually.

area51 - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-01-2009 06:58 AM

yeah, I've only had fast changes with namecheap

Elixir 10-01-2009 07:11 AM

Im using NameCheap, and it works pretty good for me..

RenegadeCash Mark 10-01-2009 07:47 AM

They have always been like that. But you know sometimes it's very fast and other times slow as fuck.

this tells you the situation you are seeing has nothing to do with namecheap and everything to do with your isp dns or perhaps somewhere in your networks caching (same goes for renegademark)
